Health: Sucky. Started on Imuran (Azathioprine) which will hopefully help me get off the prednisolone. At the moment I am stuck with crappy side effects of both while the Imuran hopefully kicks in. Fatigue is really high. Ability to do stuff is lower which makes me grumpy :/

Crafts: Lots. Putting tons of photos on Flickr. Selling stuff in the Little Sparrow Shop which is fun and pays for more craft supplies. Spent a nice afternoon at Mum's this week crafting with her too.

Cats: Still fighting. ARGH!!!!

What are your side effects on the Imuran? So far, it's been way easier on me than prednisone has. The only thing I am really noticing is that it suppresses my hunger cues, so I have to eat deliberately (very unusual for me!)

It's doing *something* to my hunger/satiety cues but I'm not sure exactly /what/ yet. I've only been on it 4 days mind you, so it's probably not settled yet - I was told it took 3-4 weeks to be fully effective so I guess side effects can change for that long at least??

But yes I keep feeling like I am full at times when I know logically I need to eat, but then it .... fades? changes? not sure? it comes and goes at least. Tonight at dinner time I had pizza and couldn't face it and ended up having some frozen yoghurt, but then 45 minutes later I was suddenly hungry and had the pizza anyway! So it's inconsistent.

Very annoying, at least. And *very* unusual for me too!!

Fascinating! I am finding that I will be interested in food that might be in front of me at times when I should be hungry, but my actual hunger cues are hours late and also much fainter than usual. The original reason I gave up on dieting was that my hunger cues had become too disruptive/dangerous to ignore, but on this stuff, my hunger cues are ignorable. It's very strange!

When you combine that with the prednisone, which makes me need to eat more offen, I've wound up in bad places with terrible migraines from failing to eat when I should have. (For me, migraines are the ultimate "you did not eat enough!" consequence.)

I still have pretty much no idea what exactly all this stuff is doing to my hunger/satiety/etc. cues, except I know they're different. This stuff is so hard!!!

At the moment there's three (I think?) of the crochet'd heart mobiles up there, the two little felt dogs (purple and brown) and a blue teddy bear with a wonky head :)
