Afuna's Come To Town

afuna is visiting me! She's going to be here for 10 days or so, depending on when she can get out of the chains to book her flight home get a flight back home to the Philippines.

It is fun and wonderful and I have delivered hugs on behalf of more people than I can count, let alone remember, and I finally got to taste green tea flavoured popcorn. She's right - it is indeed very yummy although I think it tastes more like white chocolate than green tea!

I have now also been gifted with a very cool cushion which is a cross between donut shaped and flower-without-a-center shaped. I shall provide pictures at some point - apparently there's no website for it. The Manglish on the packaging was amusingly cool, too!

Important rules have been developed:

1. Do not die while visiting Ricky


2. Do not severely injure yourself while visiting Ricky


3. Do not drop your netbook on the floor (she didn't, but it was a near thing!)

At this rate, we will have turned into NCIS in a week or so! (Here's Gibbs' Rules from NCIS).

Rule one happened because she turned up with a sniffly type cold, which I have now got too (of course). So a Poll is needed!

This is a great and relaxed sort of hanging out together, 'cause Afuna's going to be telecommuting all week to keep up her Dreamwidth work so lots of our hanging out is the "being in the same room together occasionally chatting" sort of hanging out. It's suiting me very well.

Oh, and Anekin likes her. 'nuff said.
