Short post is brief because I have a UTI and I'm exhausted and drained and flat.

Antibiotics suck, but green antibiotics at least make me smile because they're a nice colour.

Yoghurt + Ural ... my insides are probably weird.

Exercises continue to be hard hard hard and suck up all my energy. I just got up to doing 7 sets per day but I'm NO WAY going to make 7 today with a UTI so I dunno. Ha;rd hard hard.

CPAP trial last week was awesome - no migraines, slept better, woke up with a bit more energy ... and then had to give the machine back as it was only a 1 week trial. FRUSTRATING!!

Initial appointment to see sleep specialist post-trial was 5 December but managed to get them to move it forward to 21 November so that's something ... still 3 weeks away though. Somehow harder to cope with feeling like crap knowing there's something that would improve how I feel but I need to jump through their hoops to access the subsidised device so it's worth it in the end.

Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired :/

Actually I'm mostly reasonably cheery - think infection is getting me down.

Ouchie, UTIs suck.

I got really mad when one of my pills changed color because it clashed with everything else in my pill box. I dunno about green antibiotics.

Glad the CPAP helped! At least you've got a goal to work for that will help! ANd GO YOU for keeping up the exercises. I am super proud of you.

in the US, one of the most popular brands of pills for chronic heartburn and/or acid reflux is a stomach acid blocker usually referred to as "the purple pill". and my "women's 'silver' daily multivitamins & minerals" pill is purple. but i wish there was a recreational substance that came in purple pills... :-)

*hugs*
feel better, dear penguin!

See, everything in my pill box happens to be warm-toned or red. So when one of my vitamins suddenly decided to be pine green, it bugged me enough that I switched to a white brand. It really didn't go with all the orangey things at all! I have considered adding a Skittle or an M&M to balance my pills if things get bad, but I hate to indulge my OCD that much.

I've got almost a rainbow in my pill box, but my favorites are the D3, wee Aussie-rules shaped footballs full of a sunny yellow liquid.

IT IS RIDIC FRUSTRATING to have to hoop jump for a CPAP. Especially when hoop-jumping is proscribed in your exercise program, amirite?

Keeping up exercises is awesome. Go you!

how frustrating to have to hand back a tool that was helping, but - hurray that it helped, and that it will eventually return!

Many times a month I contemplate stringing my D3s into a necklace, but then I realize: stringing = holes = leakage.

Ah well, maybe I could string your hoops?

Take good care.

originally Prilosec (omeprazole) was also called "The Purple Pill" (the company actually registered that phrase as an alternate trade name); it was sold OTC. when the patent on omeprazole ran out, and the drug became available very cheaply, the original drug company began marketing esomeprazole (a slightly different, more expensive preparation of the same chemical) as Nexium, and transferred the Purple Pill name to that one.

i know people do use Xanax (and any other benzodiazepine they can get their hands on) recreationally, but the few times i've had them for medical purposes, they haven't been particularly enjoyable. there are various street drugs with "purple" in their names, but we won't discuss those... ;-)

There's a CPAP cannula that many find very comfy but isn't, at least in the US, advertised. It's a "nasal pillow mask", which doesn't fully enclose the nose and therefore triggers claustrophobia less often. (Also one can wear glasses with it, a big plus for some!)

I know zero about this vendor and these devices, but they're here to illustrate what I mean.
