Craft & Chat!

Good heavens, it seems like all I ever post is Craft&Chat announcements ... but I know some of you see them here and not anywhere else. I promise I'll do a real post soon!!

Anyway Craft & Chat @ my place this Sunday 20 May about 1-4pm. I seem to fall over dead about 4pm and need to sleep, so I'll kick you all out around then :)

in the spirit of "some of you see [things] here and not anywhere else"...

as described in my own journal, i had surgery for breast cancer on 1 May, and i will be having another operation in the same spot on the 29th. the operations are actually fairly minor outpatient procedures, and this is not a type of cancer that spreads. (neither was the one i had last year, but they are completely unrelated otherwise, except for both of them being things that affect women.) i'll be having radiation treatment afterwards - possibly only for two days. i am fine, though, and this whole episode is more annoying than alarming.

gah, 24 hours' notice! i wish i hadn't had surgery this morning, now.

it was extremely minor surgery, requiring stitches... but, hell, it's not as if i was using them.
