A book I have found really useful recently is "How To Be Sick" by Toni Bernhard. The subtitle is "a buddhist-inspired guide for the chronically ill and their caregivers" which is very accurate - while much of the material inside is based on buddhist practices, none of it requires that you "be" Buddhist or have any specific belief system.

Since reading it I have been collecting relevant resources that I've seen recommended by Toni and by other How To Be Sick readers on Facebook and on other web pages. I thought I'd list them here:

Go read this if you are sick or know anybody who's sick!

Cheers,

Just wanted to reply before too much time goes by here....I found this book a year or 2 ago in the library and really appreciated it. I only wish more people could be exposed to it, but those who would read it are probably not the ones who need to hear its message the most!

These are great links--I want to save them to peruse them later--thanks for this post!
