Okay! Significantly less grumpy than before. Going off the pill wasn't nearly as bad as expected - one day of über grumpiness and one day of moderate grumpiness and one day of spotting and that was all. Will try to get hormones checked properly in a few months...

Neurontin dose is now at 2/3 of the original dose, which is where I will sit for a month or so. My slightly-obsessive brain gets annoyed when med doses have to be made up of different sized pills at different times of the day, so 2/3 is a good place to stay because all my 600mg doses are replaced by 400mg doses and I can get 400mg capsules. Yes, I know this is pretty much a dumb reason to pick a certain dose but it makes my brain happy!

Spring sucks donkey balls. How on earth I can be full of snotty hayfever symptoms when I am taking 4x normal antihistamine dose PLUS two nose sprays PLUS two eye drops PLUS bloody steroids even .... I am baffled. All of those things undoubtedly help somewhat, because it's even worse without them, but this is crazycakes.

Also I am quadruple-plus-exhausted which is probably partially from the allergy stuff and partially from all the med changes just using up my meagre reserves of energy. Sleeping sleeping sleeping resting and more resting. Thank all the imaginary people in the sky for audiobooks and ABC radio.

Flatmate is sitting another of those evil IELTS tests on Saturday ... this will be attempt #8. Cripes I hope she gets the score she needs this time ... the tests seem to be totally crazy and and the scores not very much correlated with English ability at all, from this point of view :( I hate that test!!

A slightly early Eid Mubarak to those who celebrate it. We are having a Sunday lunch celebration after the dammed IELTS is over for this time.

That's all for now. More sleeping ...
