I seem to have innocently picked the busiest day of the year - it's Midsumma carnival day too.

If you see any Dreamwidth-ians at Linux.conf.au, please hug them on my behalf. It totally sucks that they're so close and yet so far, coming from the USA to NZ and changing flights in Sydney and *reaches* y'know.

We'll have fun anyway. Whereabouts are you living now, for future reference purposes?

You're welcome to drop in Saturday but I'm busy at some points (early evening would be fine) and I don't want to change the day anyway for other reasons.

I didn't realise until today it was Midsumma carnival day :( Not keeping up with local culture I can't participate in has its downsides! But there'll be another some point in February (probably not 1st weekend on account of my birthday).
